It is easy to imagine that Venice, due to its multitude of bridges and very small streets ( calli), is inaccessible with a wheelchair.

Instead, this city does not constitute an architectural barrier for the disabled people because with the help of local steamboats you can turn it wherever you want.

This 4 hour tour is an excellent opportunity to get to know the most important and famous places of the city with an expert guide that will show you the easier way to ride with a wheelchair.

Whether is or not your first time in the floating city enjoy this trip that will lead you from the marvel of Piazza San Marco with its majestic Doge’s Palace to Rialto district with its wonderful bridge.
  • Piazza San Marco: Meet you guide in Calle Vallaresso and reach San Marco Square with your guide. Amazing Square, symbol of the city, in which you will be sorrounded by impressive architectures, built in differents times but that seem to be one. A long series of ancient arcades ,that enclose a lot of bars and restaurants, flank the square, on one side you will enjoy the wonderful view of the Correr Museum and right in front of it the sumptuous Basilic with its 4 bronze horses facing the center of the square.

  • Ponte dei Sospiri: Leaving the Doge’s palace you will be able to admire from the outside the famous Bridge of Sights that internally connects the palace with the new prisons, not accessible by wheelchair because of a tight passage and not equipped for the wheelchair.
  • Ponte di Rialto: Catch again the steamboat n 1 and reach Rialto district, one of the most famous district in which Venice is divided. Rialto is famous all around the world for the romantic Rialto Bridge, the white stone bridge anciently the only one bridge which joined the two side of the Gran canal and built to faciltate the commercial trade.
