Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival - program depends on arrival time

  • Arrival to the airport
  • Short insight to the city and shopping (if needed)
  • Transfer to the camp
  • Welcome dinner


DAY 2

Meeting Kamchatka - 10:00-19:00

  • Visiting Avacha bay
  • Observation deck “Three Brothers” the hallmark of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
  • Lighthouse
  • Mayachny Cliff where road goes along the coast of Avacha Bay
  • Visiting the coast of the Pacific ocean, Halactir beach with volcanic sand and horse riding (Sand Surfing is optional for extra fee)
  • Barbeque by the Pacific ocean


DAY 3

Small Valley of Geysers - 8:00-20:00

  • Transfer from the camp and all day travelling via snow-going swamp vehicle
  • Vilyuchin Passage and Vilyuchin Volcano
  • Mutnovsky volcano, where the Opasny Canyon is located
  • Sixty-meter waterfall in the Canyon which does not freeze even in winter
  • Along the way, you will see solidified lava fields
  • Dachnye Springs - small valley of geysers - through the Pionersky Pass, a 300-meter walk to the fumarole site with amazing emissions of a steam-gas mixture from underground
  • Meals on the route are included


DAY 4

Ethnic day, husky puppies, hot springs - 11:00-18:00

  • Visiting ethnic village of Koryaks
  • Ethnic concert
  • Master class in Koryak dances
  • Photo session in national clothes
  • Tea with flatbreads in Yaranga by the fire on reindeer skins, listening to ancient ancestral songs performed, traditional fish soup
  • Sled dog kennel as well as a story about sled dogs and the northern expedition of Beringia
  • Visiting Hot springs in natural environment, Zelenovski Lakes (swimming suit and towel is compulsory if participating in bathing)


DAY 5

Avacha Passage by offroad vehicle (snowmobile is optional for extra fee, availability depends on the weather conditions)

  • Path to the Koryaks Volcano - highest volcano in the south of the peninsula (3456 m).
  • Arrival to the highest point of the Passage and Volcano, a walk to the top of Mount Verblud with a view of Avacha Bay and Vilyuchinsky Volcano.
  • From the pass in the distance you can see the Volcanoes and the River Valley
  • Lunch by the volcanoes


DAY 6

Rafting

  • Rafting at the river Bistraya with fishing. It is a very relaxing experience where we raft slowly, trying to catch some fish and if we are lucky, we'll see bears on the river shore!
  • Cooking famous Russain "Ukha" soup and resting at the hot springs.
  • In the evening we return to the hotel and swim in the warm swimming pool.

Departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Stop to buy souvenirs on the way to the airport
  • Departure flight at 16:00
