Itinerary
- We will see the main castle of Byzantine, on the west side and entry of city from Europe by Golden Gate. We will explere walls of Byzantine by seawalls and defense walls. Built in 390.
- The Walls of Istanbul: We will discover the walls of Byzantine as seawalls and landwalls. Built in 390.
- Vlaherna Meryem Ana Church: One of the oldest and holy churches in Istanbul, built in 457 and hosted the holy mantle and robe of the Virgin Mary. It has a importance with its Sacred Bath and Holy Water.
- Tekfur Sarayi: Byzantine Palace of Blachernae, known as Tekfur palace by Ottoman, built in 490 by Byzantine Empire and used as main palace for several years till the conquer. Located on the Golden horn and used as a museum today.
- Explore one of the oldest authentic spots in the city and visit around the old Greek, Bulgarian, Armenian houses and streets.
- Balat: Discover the orthodox neighbourhood of Constantinople with lots of monuments, churches, houses, shops etc.
