Duong Lam town is an ancient village, we ride a bicycle around town and see some ancient houses, and take a picture of the traditional make fish sauce in the local family. Duong Lam is 35 km2 from Hanoi. Duong Lam is a commune of Son Tay town, Hanoi, Vietnam. Duong Lam becomes the first ancient village in Vietnam. Two of Vietnam’s kings, Phung Hung (761-802) and Ngo Quyen (896-944) were born in Duong Lam, giving the village its prestige. Both men led resistance wars against northern invasion and after winning national independence, were crowned kings. After their deaths, the local people built them.

10 a.m: Experience Ngo Quyen Mausoleum by bicycle trip where honoured famous king in Vietnam history and combined to explore the countryside and rice fields.
11 a.m: Come back village after a bicycle trip, go to some ancient houses, and see the oldest and most typical communal house at Mong Phu village. Drive to see Sugar Cane Pagoda famous for pagoda where there are the most statues in Vietnam.
12 p.m: We have lunch with local food at the ancient house, chilly out in the restaurant.
13:30 p.m: We continue to explore Thay Pagoda, one of an ancient pagodas in Vietnam
15 p.m: We visit Van Phuc silk village to discover a traditional way to create Silked long dresses and silkscreens…
17 p.m: We go to the older quarter, drink eggs coffee, and have dinner in the restaurant. Come back hotel in Hanoi.
